Mr. F.X. Suhardi Djojoprasetyo conducted the second Javanese gamelan workshop at the Geneva Ethnographic Museum on Saturday and Sunday (13-14 May 2000). The workshop was conducted for the group which has been regularly practicing the gamelan since February (from the first workshop). Having mastered the basic rhythm and some first songs ("gending"), the group learned some new songs and more advanced techniques during the two-day workshop.

Mr. Djojoprasetyo expressed his appreciation to the members of the group who have shown their dedication and high interests in learning the traditional Javanese musical instruments.
