Lesotho Mission in Geneva

Diplomatic History

The Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Lesotho was established in April 1998.

The Ambassador and Permanent Representative is resident in Brussels, Belgium and  supervises the overall operations of the Mission through regular working visits to Geneva where he participates in some of the major meetings and consultations.  The Mission is currently under the supervision of the Minister Counsellor who is acting as the Charge d'Affaires.

The Permanent Mission of Lesotho in Geneva does not issue passports or visas these are issued by our Embassy in Brussels together with new passports for Lesotho citizens.

Honorary Consulates exist in several countries.  In Switzerland the Honorary Consulate General is at Bleicherweg 45, CH-8002 Zurich. Tel. 41-1-201-44.45. Fax. 41-1-207-44-46.

Visa requirements

Nationals of the following countries do not require  visa to enter the Kingdom of Lesotho, although Lesotho citizens require a visa  to travel to.
