Yangon,
1 May — All 12 members of Tangyan Township National League for Democracy in

duties, the objectives of the party were to implement party politics in
collaboration with the local people and to strive for social improvements of the
people. However, it was found that NLD was inept at performing its duties to

in the interests of the State and the people. So, it can be witnessed that all
the national people are now enjoying fruits of development. The NLD members gave
priority to personality cult and ism, which caused deep divisions within the
party. Consequently, the letter says, the 12 members resigned from the party on
6 April. As all the 12 members had resigned of their own accord from the party,
Tangyan Township National League for Democracy office was closed on 13 April.
