
Delegate groups of National Convention meet in group discussions

Yangon, 27 July - Delegate groups of
Representatives-elect, National Races, Peasants, Workers and State Service
Personnel organized the group meetings at the designated places of
Nyaunghnapin Camp in Hmawby Township this morning.
Before the meetings, members of the
panel of chairmen and delegates of the National Convention from respective
delegate groups signed in the attendance books.
Delegate Group of Representatives-elect
The group meeting of the Delegate Group
of Representatives-elect was held at the hall-1 this morning.
Alternate Chairman U Law Hsin Kwam of
Kokang Democracy and Unity Party presided over the meeting together with U
Mahn Tin Maung (a) U Mahn Myo Nyunt of Union Kayin League and U Kyar Har She
of Lahu National Development Party.
Deputy Director U Khin Sein and
Assistant Director Daw Mie Mie Shein of the National Convention Convening Work
Committee acted as MC.
Alternate Chairman U Law Hsin Kwam of
Kokang Democracy and Unity Party delivered an address, and U San Tha Aung of
Mro (or) Khami National Solidarity Organization and U Aung Thein of Ywangan
Township Constituency, on behalf of member delegates, read the proposal of the
Delegate Group of Representatives-elect on the clarification of the Chairman
of the NCC Work Committee concerning the suggestions of some delegate groups
on the detailed basic principles for the Chapters Election, Political Parties,
Provisions on State of Emergency, Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag,
State Seal, National Anthem and the Capital, Transitory Provisions, and
General Provisions to be included in drawing the State Constitution.
The Alternate Chairman sought the
approval from the delegates, and gave concluding remarks.
Delegate Group of National Races
Alternate Chairman U Mahn Ohn Maung of
Kayin State presided over the group meeting together with members of the Panel
of Chairmen U Kyaw Din (a) U Htay Yei of Kayah State, Duwa Zok Dong of Shan
State (North), U Maung Hla (a) U Hla Myint of Taninthayi Division and U Aung
Zan Wai of Rakhine State at Pyidaungsu Hall.
Deputy Director U Tin Maung Oo and
Assistant Director U Ye Lwin of the NCC Work Committee acted as MCs.
The Alternate Chairman made a speech.
Next, U Li Ye Ja of Kachin State, Daw Nang Mo Kham of Shan State and U Myo
Tint of Mandalay Division, on behalf of member delegates, read the proposal of
the Delegate Group of National Races on the clarification of the Chairman of
the NCC Work Committee concerning the suggestions of some delegate groups on
the detailed basic principles for the Chapters Election, Political Parties,
Provisions on State of Emergency, Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag,
State Seal, National Anthem and the Capital, Transitory Provisions, and
General Provisions to be included in drawing the State Constitution.
After seeking the approval from the
delegates, the Alternate Chairman delivered concluding remarks.
Delegate Group of Peasants
At the hall-4, the delegate group was
presided over by Alternate Chairman U Tin Maung Kyaw of Magway Division
together with members of the Panel of Chairmen U Kyi Tint of Ayeyawady
Division and U Mya Aye of Yangon Division. Deputy Director U Nay Win and
Assistant Director Daw Myint Sein acted as MCs.

Tint of Ayeyawady Division explained the clarification of the Chairman of the
NCC Work Committee concerning the suggestions of some delegate groups on the
detailed basic principles for the Chapters Election, Political Parties,
Provisions on State of Emergency, Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag,
State Seal, National Anthem and the Capital, Transitory Provisions, and
General Provisions to be included in drawing the State Constitution.
Member of the Panel of Chairmen U Kan
Nyunt of Sagaing Division read the proposal of the Delegate Group of Peasants
concerning the provisions of the chapters for laying down the detailed basic
principles.
Alternate Chairman U Tin Maung Kyaw of
Magway Division approved the proposal of the delegate group and gave
concluding remarks.
Delegate Group of Workers
The group meeting took place at the
hall-5 at 9 am. U Kyaw Myo Win of Bago Division (West) presided over the
meeting together with members of the Panel of Chairmen U Khin Maung Aye of
Sagaing Division and Dr Myo Thant Tin of Yangon Division. Deputy Director U
Zaw Win and Assistant Director U Aung Win acted as MCs.
The Alternate Chairman made a speech.
On behalf of the Panel of Chairmen, U Than Myint of Dagon Myothit (South)
Township of Yangon Division read the proposal of the Delegate Group of Workers
on the clarification of the Chairman of the NCC Work Committee concerning the
suggestions of some delegate groups on the detailed basic principles for the
Chapters Election, Political Parties, ?Provisions on State of Emergency,
Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag, State Seal, National Anthem and the
Capital, Transitory Provisions, and General Provisions to be included in
drawing the State Constitution.
After seeking the approval from the
delegates, the Alternate Chairman approved the proposal and gave a concluding
speech.
Delegate Group of State Service
Personnel
At meeting hall-7, Maj-Gen Win Than of
the Ministry of Defence presided over the meeting of the delegate group
together with members of the Panel of Chairmen U Tin Kha of the Ministry of
Defence and U Hla Tin of the Ministry of Commerce.
Deputy Director U Htay Win and
Assistant Director U Htein Min acted as MCs. The Alternate Chairman delivered
an address. Dr Daw Myat Myat Ohn Khin of the Ministry of Health and U Arnt
Maung of the Ministry of Religious Affairs explained the clarification of the
Chairman of the NCC Work Committee concerning the detailed basic principles
for the Chapters Election, Political Parties, Provisions on State of
Emergency, Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag, State Seal, National
Anthem and the Capital, Transitory Provisions, and General Provisions to be
included in drawing the State Constitution.
U Hla Thaung Myint of the Ministry of
Rail Transportation read out the suggestions of the delegate group concerning
the clarification of the NCC Work Committee Chairman. Alternate Chairman Maj-Gen
Win Than of the Ministry of Defence approved the proposal of the delegate
group after seeking the approval. Next, the Alternate Chairman made concluding
remarks.
