Delegate group of Intellectuals and Intelligentsia of National Convention meets

YANGON, 30 July - The Meeting of Delegate group of Intellectuals and Intelligentsia of National Convention was held at hall-6 of Nyaunghnapin Camp, Hmawby Township, at 9 am today.

Before the meeting, members of the penal of chairmen and delegates of the National Convention from respective delegate groups signed in the attendance book.

Alternate Chairman Dr Maung Maung Wint presided over the meeting together with Dr Thein Nyunt and U Khin Zaw, Deputy Director U Than Win of the NCC Work Committee as MC and Assistant Director U Nyein Myint as co-MC.

First, the Alternate Chairman made an open-ing speech. He then explained the clarification of the Chairman of the NCC Work Committee concerning the detailed basic principles for the Chapters Election, Political Parties Provision on State of Emergency Amendment of the Constitution, State Flag, State Seal, National Anthem and the Capital, Transitory Provisions, and General Provisions to be included in drawing the State Constitution, and approved the proposals of the delegate group after seeking the approval.
